October Snow in Zurich and Surrounding areas

Well the snow certainly didn’t stop on Sunday so today, Monday, was a veritable Winter Wonderland in and around Zurich.  Not only did it serve as a reminder to get your car booked in for the Winter tyre change (if you haven’t already) but as the sun shone and the children built snowmen it really felt like December – not October!

In Zurich the sun melted the snow but even by early evening it still clung to the rooftops. With no more snow forecast for the immediate future, perhaps this is just a taste of a good Winter ahead?
